    I used a GIF image as a link, but now it has a blue border around it. How do I get rid of it?

Dear Frustrated

You need to specify BORDER=0 in the IMG tag. Specifically, your link should look something like this: 

 <A HREF=targetpage.html>
    <IMG SRC=picture.gif BORDER=0
        WIDTH=100 HEIGHT=25 ALT="go to targetpage"></A>
